I'm not good with titles...

Saturday morning I headed out to the AT&T store with some hope that they would help. Yeah that was dumb. I walked in, signed my name and waited. The girl I guess they hire as a "bouncer" for the place asks me if I'm signed in. Yes. Then asks what I'm returning. I explain my situation.
She says "You'll have to call the number. We can't do anything."
"Really?! Nothing?!"
"No, I'm sorry. You have to call them."

So I escort my unhappy butt to the sign in sheet, mark out my name and leave. I think the most irritating thing about this is that you have a store to go to, but they can't or don't or won't help you with phone problems. The solution is to call a number, where you then get transferred to someone who doesn't care either. So basically unless you want to buy a new phone or change your plan, don't go to the store. ugh!

So I call the number. I get a very very nice lady, can't remember her name. They don't want you to call from your crap phone because they need you to tell them the IMEI number, if the battery prongs are the proper color and what color the "pregnancy test" is. I couldn't do that, she at first wasn't happy about that, but I explained that I had the number she needed and all the other info required. Explained my situation, she was actually sympathetic. Did I mention helpful!? The most helpful one out of the whole thing. Since it was "two strikes" with a phone I was able to switch to a different make and model. She offered me a motorola razr, to which I politely said no. I've had that phone, its crap. They practically give them away in cereal boxes these days. I told her I'd like to stick with blackberry anything because I really do like the phone when it works. So I'm getting a curve. It won't be a new curve, its refurbished. Crossing my fingers that this refurb functions properly. Third times the charm right? All in all my last experience on the phone was SO much better! I think I'm avoiding the AT&T store unless I need a phone, but technically I can do my upgrade online anyway. Yeah, I'm stubborn, I know. So my phone should be here tomorrow, in the mean time I'm texting people without the "I/U" button and possibly some numbers.

In other boring news, I had my nerve test on my wrist today. It actually wasn't that bad or my pain tolerance is alot better than I thought. There were no needles involved. The lady said that was because my symptoms didn't warrant it. YAY for my symptoms! I think. It was somewhat painful, I won't lie. It was only for a second though and then it went away. The test all in all might have last 15 mins and I was done. Hopefully I'll have results by the end of the week. My wrist has actually been better recently, except friday. That was awful, but lifting heavy boxes and patients did not help.

I'm staying positive and have high hopes this week will be good... I need a tan before the beach. suggestions anyone??
